Pineapple paradise By CALDEO SOOKRAM

SWEET, juicy, fleshy pineapple has always been a culinary delight since the days of the Caribs and Arawaks.
The pineapple is a very versatile fruit that can be used in a variety of dishes. It can be juiced, dried, candied or used in baking.
It is regularly served with meat and seafood. Pineapple is often the sweet element in sweet and sour preparations.
Served with rice, cheese or fruit salad, it makes a healthful meal.
The fruit is rich in protein, carbohydrate, fibre and`is an excellent source of Vitamin C.
I love pineapples!
Maybe I just need a news category :-D
SynergyTV
As my sister aptly puts it, our parents tell us nothing. It seems we have a local cable channel. Run by Peter C Lewis (Xtatik frontliner).
On a similar vein, yesterday she sent me email saying that Banyan has come out with GayelleTV (spelling?) (80% local programming) which is cool…better yet they have a live feed on HomeViewTnT.com. Unfortunately it seems I need to be using Windows for it, so when her monthly subscription is up then I’ll reinstall Linux, unless I canfigure out Abacast and Windows Media Player.

i am petrified.

my sister laughed via email and said she’d cook and clean for me…hmm
my mom probably won’t like me anymore
eek!
I’m told that the image is like over 1/3 of the page.
Well I need to fix that except of course that I have intentions of changing the image.
Also, I looked at the website in 800×600 screen resolution and it looks terrible. But who in the world wants their screen in 800×600??? NOT ME…
::grumble::
not sure what to do.
All the elements are out of place…I need to check them…rework them…work them as percentages I guess and not pixels.
That sucks.
Next weekend. My eyes hurt!
EDIT: If anybody is interested, this is my blog with my image that takes up a third of the page and looks bad in 800×600 and maybe another resolution.

Ah! If only I knew how to install Garamond and some other fonts on Linux (or Red Hat Linux specifically).
I did it on Mandrake…but I can’t see it here and I’ve always loved Garamond.
Oh well, this is something that I will have to work on I guess.
The fonts are interesting. I should maybe try an alternate font that I have on Linux – note to self: check what fonts are installed!
Okay, I’m almost done. I’m sure it’s not perfect and there are lots of little things running around the place that need tidying up.
I’m not happy with the last links (rss, xhtml etc) as I haven’t figured out where to remove the underline, but with enough experimenting I will.
It could have probably been a cleaner style sheet and I did intend to have it as such but then I got tired and thank God for Mozilla Firefox extension EditCSS as I just kept copying in each element and adjusting it until I was happy. So hopefully I will find it.
I probably have some more tweaking to do but I’ll copy the test file to the index and see what happens.
If you look, you’ll see only colours have really changed but I liked the nice clean style of the default installation look and changing it was hard.
The dragon in the corner is temporary until I get a new one.
