For various reasons I’ve called myself Lily online.
It was almost a natural progression from my name or from Lilandra.
And then one day I complained on DelphiForums that I couldn’t do a quiz because I didn’t have a middle name and my friend Lenny said, well if your name was Lily Marie Thomas you would do this “…” but I had to explain that well I had no Marie equivalent but I did like the sound of that. So I went to one of those name websites (you know numerology, or they give you meanings of names etc) and went through all the Lily sounding names and she looked at them too and we hit upon me being Lylia Marie Thomas. I actually like it. It’s not as good as my name but it’s fun :-)
One day I will find the links for all these posts and websites and put them here.

But that’s not the freaky thing. The Jehovah Witnesses came to call at my door again today. I’m waaaaay too polite and don’t really know how to send people away. Maybe I should’ve just stayed curled up under my covers and ignored them but anywayz.

So she was trying to remember my name (or maybe pronounce it from the mailbox which is another chore and my former/neighbour/*stalker* did that too…which is why I told him he was a stalker) and she came out with Lilia or Lylia or was it Lily? Maybe she really was going from a month old memory because the spelling of my name doesn’t lead to that pronunciation. But either way, it is freaky to have someone knock on your door and call you by one of your online names or two of them. If some how she’d channeled Lilandra I would’ve slammed the door in her face (or froze and said more than I’m happy with my religion). Of course she could be a stalker from online places…

It’s just too weird.

I’m so tired of not having the zeal to go grocery shopping because of the snow (we have a break finally) and to go do laundry. And this all makes for a very messy apartment. And I get depressed and don’t want to clean it.

I’m tired of not having food. I think I need a keeper.

I need to clean my apartment.

It’s Saturday.
I am at work.
Why? Because it’s candidates weekend and we have all these prospective grad students trekking through the place and we the Computer Science Department are supposed to be wooing them.
Someone has finally come into my lab/room. But my lab (group) shares a lab (room) with another group and she’s talking to people from the other lab. Hopefully she won’t come to me because I lack motivation for anything and don’t see how I can motivate anyone else. And I hate talking about things I’m not interested in anymore and it always sounds fake and I always think I don’t know what I’m talking about or that people are laughing at me.

Oh well..that’s life I guess.

It’s Saturday.
I am here.
The only bright note (if you can consider it bright) is that I wouldn’t've left my apartment until after 5 pm anywayz and I wouldn’t have even woken up before 9 am and left. I hibernate, which is pretty depressing but that’s all.

I want to go home. I am tired of doing nothing here.

It is Saturday.
It is nice out.
We were actually all able to sit outside and eat lunch and it was nice and cool.

If only I made use of the day! But then I would be more upset about being cooped up inside here.

It is Saturday and I am sleepy.

Still working on it.
I’m pretty afraid to change the colours, I don’t think I have much eye..or maybe I should just try..
And then I’m getting trouble with where to put elements. But I’ll figure it out if I take a breather.

And I’m trying to fix the random quote function that I got from UrbanWhore.com as I already have the file of quotes right now. What I’m not sure is how to fix its look. I’m not sure where the CSS is for the categories and links and such as I can’t find it in wp-layout.css. So I’m not sure how/where to edit it for the quotes much less what the fonts for links and categories are so I can ape them.

other version, they just killed each other, son moved in to take over and well it was pretty violent on those mountains but they were happy cuz they had freedom they thought but never really knew what freedom was

i’m not sure but…need to sort this out..very disjointed, can i make this private?

oh…and of course guy who goes to war, almost drowns sees something, valuable jewellry perhaps, gets it gets out..etc
then asks someone what they’re thinking of when telling said story and gets told above…

Oooh! I lost the upload menu option awhile aback.
It’s now miraculously reappeared.
Go figure!
