Since you so graciously posted on my Blog, I feel I must return the favor. Thank you for your comments and so expeditiously done I must add—not even 10 min after I posted on WrodPost. I was glad that I could fix your name, as I to like to have a sense of anonymity every now and then myself. Regarding the Gold menu box, yes, I agree that it does look cool but, I feel I can do better: it will be changed sometime soon. My operating platform is LINUX, and it comes with the program GIMP, [graphic image manipulation program] that has some neat features: that Gold menu was one of them.
As you stated at the top of your Blog, you are at the deciding point of your academic life. I too have hit that same fork in the road and decide to go back and change majors to expand my options. I started out as a Sociology major then shifted over to Criminology. I did my BA in SOCI but found that jobs were not beating down my door. So I went back into the CRIM program with the mindset of completing my 4th year Law at University of British Columbia by 2006. You could say I’m “on fast track program” which is why I’m in the Summer Semester. I do not see myself taking it higher to a doctoral dic.? Of course, I’m assuming that the Liberal Arts and the Sciences have the same pitfalls?
I admire anyone who has made it that far. I hope you follow through with it. Good luck!

Hi!
I use Mozilla Firefox, you have to go dragon1 dragon2 or dragon3 with the : around it :-) so :dragonx: where x is the number 1, 2 or 3.
I like visiting people’s blogs and posting on them…and at least saying hello..;-)
Well re my education, I came here for a PhD but am only staying for a Master’s. It’s just some days I feel like just cutting and running even though I only have one month to go again of this. It’s just alot of work now and I have to pack to move home and it’s stressful.
I like GIMP. It’s cool and when I go back, I’ll be using it more often. I made my first dragon (hah! i only have one more) using it. It took time because I did it at work over a long period of time as a stress reliever and took my time and kept messing with it until I was happy.
I think you should work to make the menu image blend into the other colour on your page. Of course…I should talk..I don’t have any images. I wanted a header image but I wanted to make it myself but didn’t have the time so I just settled on colouring my page..sometimes I wonder if it looks alot like the template but then…oh well…come June I might change things.
Well when I go home I don’t know if I’ll get a job…:-(
Maybe I might get one based on my Bachelor’s.
My sister’s a lawyer tho. She seems to like that!

i’m even considering changing back the smilies that become smilies even without a space because i like having text smilies and graphic smilies
i think i’m going to have to go through them and see which ones i like as smilies and which i like as text

What do you mean my links weird? :-? Yes I have the blue one and it’s about 10 inches high so not exactly a miniature. Certainly didn’t feel like a miniature whilst I was painting it. It’s metal apart from the wings and bloody heavy. I don’t know what metal they use for these things but it’s like lead only that wouldn’t be allowed these days. Even the small figures like the rider are hefty. :-)
