Movies, updates and signs…
Well I’ve been a bit absent of late (okay alot absent of late).
I’m just sooo tired and have so much packing to do and work…and losing sleep..:(
So I finished my paper. I don’t think it’s good. The reader will start reading it on Wednesday and if I’m lucky she’ll like it. But I think it’s probably crap so I won’t be lucky.
I’ve finally seen Shrek 2 (and Puss in Boots is cute), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (yay!) and went to see The Terminal yesterday.
On the subject of signs, my mom brought me some zam zam water when she came to visit in April and said to drink it. So sometime this week I poured some in a cup an promptly knocked the cup over and spilt it all, losing more than half of it. I’m sure it’s a sign. Maybe of bad things to come?
Oh and there is a murmur of a job back home. If I get it, I’ll take it as a sign too. You are probably wondering, “a sign of what?” … well just wonder…
I have to update my resume.
Oh, and this week I intend to book a ticket to fly home on either the 29th or 30th. I can’t wait to get home. My eyes hurt, I am tired and I just want to be home. Everybody except my eldest sibling will be home and she will come to visit for a bit since we’ll all be there.
I miss you all. I miss blogging. I miss commenting on blogs. I want to install plugins. grrrrrrrr
Hey!! A new post. :grin: I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the paper. And legs. Bet you’re glad it’s finished even if it still has to be “approved”. As for plugins, Tom has just installed the “poll” plugin though he’s still working on style, so you can get help there if you need it. I’ve got a feed reader going. It’s not specifically a WP plugin though you can use it like that. I have it separate with it’s own page which you can view from my menu. On my test page I’m working on a weather plugin. It’s not the same one everybody seems to use. This one has no picies but it does grab an absolute load of info and is highly configurable which is the part I’m now working with. Hope the packing goes well!! :grin:

Aargh, you get to see all those new movies and I’m just watching Kill Bill over and over again (not that I’m complaining—it’s just the fookin’ exams).
Don’t worry too much about the paper… I’m sure it’ll be okay.

Lily, Stuart, I got the major bug(s) worked out of POLLS.PHP 1.2… It took a while. If you want, I can type out the “new” instructions and “fixes”… if you want to call them that. It fooled me when I was working on the CSS, too many tables in the HTML part… all better now :)
