Final Episode on September 6th
I’ve been watching Inu Yasha for about a year and a half I think…
I like it…:-)
And the series is ending at episode 167 I think. Ah well. It’s sort of a relief because then I won’t have to stress about figuring out how to watch them or waiting for Cartoon Network to air them!

We got cable in our part of the island when I wasn’t home. It was normal I guess, you know, cable-ready tv, so life was good.
But sometime in the last year, to combat cable theft they decided the best way to scramble the cable or whatever was to distribute these stupid little boxes. Grrrr!
Anywayz, last Friday we went out for a lecture so I sat down to figure out how to do timer record on the vcr with the box and such so I could tape Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Okay, maybe this is reinventing the wheel for some of you guys but I’ve never had to deal with a cable box before, right? So I sat down and figured out that I had to set the programme timer on the box and also on the vcr. Okay … test taping worked.

The tv needs to be on Channel 3 for me to see the cable and the vcr needs to be on Channel 3 also so I can tape from the tv.
What it boiled down to was I can’t watch one station while watching another station which is totally ridiculous. And I called the cable company who confirmed this. The idiot representative of the idiot cable company seemed to think this is normal everywhere.
Anywayz, I’m most annoyed. I think we should get DirecTV. But…I’m just curious, maybe I should do some searches…is there anyway to get around this without say paying for another cable box? I’m not very technical but….shouldn’t there be a way…

there’ve been many conspiracies of late
like my dad taking the older car, with the young drivers insurance policy to work, supposedly because the newer car would be a more comfortable ride for all of us if we at home go out liming…
or when i go out with dad, he takes the newer car…
what is the conspiracy you ask? well…it’s got one of those 25 and older insurance policies.
well…soon it won’t matter
because though i can’t drive, i have a license that says otherwise and both cars will be insured for me!!!!

oh yeah, and for some reason our phone company cut our phone lines and we were without phone lines from saturday to noon today.

it’s not just the lack of internet that sucks (cuz the internet sucks anyways), it’s no phone…i mean the cellphones we have don’t really fill the need!
oh and i have more rants to come…when i have time to settle down! :)
oh and i mightn’t get a master’s…
