Hajj

So, the sorta plan is that Chennette and I should go make Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) next year, as in 2006/2007. At least, the family say we should make the intention.

It’s all kinda scary…I think some training is required.

Oh well…I’m pretty sure it would be good for me and Insha Allah I will not be sick!
See, I am thinking positive.

Oh, and I changed my blog title so that you guys would understand that I realize I always seem to get sick and am always sick and am quite sickly so if it seems that I post one week about how I was sick and then do the same two weeks later….you don’t have to post sympathies or anything…because that would get kinda tedious for you after awhile. I was sick last weekend…I don’t get it…what have I done to myself?
Tho, I don’t understand what’s going on with me, I have accepted that I am going to be sick forever. Hopefully I can move on from there.

Ooo…pregnant sister waddles.

And merry christmas to whomever celebrates it.

I just witnessed my first wedding ever…

Cool.

Edit: *sigh* I mean, for the first time in my life, I was an official witness at a wedding. *sigh*

And I was sick with the virus for the whole of last week.

I didn’t go to the doctor right away because I was scheduled to see a doctor on Thursday about a blood test and various other things. Well, my blood test, as is always the case it seems, shows that my whatevers are all okay. (People keep wanting to do blood tests on me and they always show nothing’s wrong). But my blood pressure is still a bit high, so we’re trying medication for it for a couple of weeks (tiny dose) and then we’ll see if I need more or what.

I need inspiration to lose weight.

Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire

Hawk of AppleGeeks posted a link to the Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire webcomic. And I’ve been busy reading it since last night. I’m almost done…I’m in May 2005…but I felt like posting now and not waiting til I’m done.

Hope other people enjoy.

Of course, I’m no good at making puns myself.

Earthquakes

Okay. I can’t take it anymore. My heart won’t survive. This last earthquake seemed rather strong. I was sure some Hercules was pushing the cupboard in the next room.

Eeep.

We sure are getting alot of them.
And I’m not asleep during them…and if I were I’m sure I would feel it!

Edit: It wasn’t a very big earthquake in terms of magnitude or whatever (only 4.1) but it was very shallow.

Hmmm

33 weeks and

my sister still has no crib.
and the room for the baby isn’t fixed yet.
and who knows what else.

my sister isn’t even leaving Guyana and coming to T&T until the 36th week. as far as i know, a baby can come anytime…even at week 33, 34, 35, 36…
i don’t want to call anybody an idiot but my mom is understandably upset.

geez…we have the crib for when she comes here and delivers (insha allah) all ready…dad sanded it and varnished it…we’ve already got the mattress…

mom’s at the…ooo new curtains for the room!

and what does mr brother-in-law have to say? oh this baby have more things than other babies. HA!
ok, so i won’t call any of my immediate family idiot right now but am quite willing to call a non blood relative such…except…i hope my niece/nephew doesn’t inherit this streak.
