I miss it actually. I liked it. It seems to work with WordPress 2 but we shall see…that and when I was making the red, white and black theme, I cleaned up the code considerably. I’m not sure if I actually did in this theme. So, if anything looks broken please tell me.
I noticed the other day that my new curtains look just like this theme. I think that rather odd!

I think there was some sabotage in the area.
Now when we called to report it…the idiot on the other end of the line just gave the standard spiel about “checking it in 5 working days”, which you must know means not next week but the following week as tomorrow’s Good Friday and Monday’s…(Easter Monday? Whit Monday? I forget).
Couldn’t he have said the lines got cut in our area…instead of being discourteous, aggressive and annoying my mother.
Stupid TSTT workers.

I am glad, we’re not on dial-up anymore…and also glad that we’re not on TSTT ADSL. Tho, I’m not sure that GreenDot necessarily better (of course I’ll call you back ma’am; oh we don’t call about interruption in service because it mightn’t be affecting you; oh, we’re doing maintenance on your network…but we don’t know who it’ll affect so we didn’t call; i can go on!)

next thing on my list…this time, make sure I get a lab with dual-booting computers and make them boot into Linux and use the command line to run their programs.

And because my silly IT probably only supports *nix and the network in the networking lab (I say probably because I have no clue…they certainly don’t on my machine), the wonderful students of mine shouldn’t be able to wile away all their time checking mail and what not…unless of course we get the networking lab!
note when i say *new* ideas i don’t mean these ideas are new, just that this is some of what I’m going to do different!

Well, yesterday we got invited to a walimah on Friday (who cares about short notice…God provides for us pretty bag buyers!)
A walimah is the wedding feast…after the nikkah (wedding ceremony).
Mom says she thinks the nikkah happened in December, maybe…
I asked mom who the groom is; of course mom forgot to ask…
Well, not that I would’ve known anywayz…
So, I get to pretend to be not “anti-social” to lots of people I either don’t know or don’t remember to who don’t talk to me (ok, maybe it’s I don’t talk to them?)
But yay! pretty bag!
Okay, it’s not a *new* idea I’m sure.
But griping about grading on the LinuxChix IRC channel…people reminded me of the whole…switch quizzes around and let other students grade it…
Next time I run little practical quizzes that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to make them debug and grade each other’s work. Maybe they’ll see what a headache they gave me with their weird code. Or maybe they’ll be able to debug; that is, forced to learn to debug.
Man, unfortunately I have to wait until next semester because only one more class with my programmers…but, it’s Intro C again so … that’s a good start.
And I’m also teaching intro to computer hardware…shall I wing it, the whole class through?
