All shopped out!
Man. I love window shopping for hardware
and bags
and plane tickets…
And by window shopping I mean browser windows.
But when you actually come down to doing it…it’s stressful.
Well, if I had to buy one computer say that’d be fine. Or two bags. Or a few USB drives. Or one set of tickets. But when in one week, you must buy parts for that computer you’re finally going to build (ooo!! athlon64 here i come!) and try to make sure the wireless card will work with linux and buy two laptop bags/cases/sleeves for your parents’ and sister’s laptop…and buy everybody wireless routers, usb flash drives, ram upgrades for their laptops, plane tickets to go Guyana (and as you click on an option that seat/option/flight is no longer available), books (with paypal trying to charge extra $20), find that illusive skin (like an iSkin for my powerbook except for the asus), find out about the english-arabic keyboard cover for my bro, surge protectors…gah! And on top of that you find yourself trolling through ebay looking at an old computer you always dreamt of…and then take the plunge! (and now you need a wireless card to go with it)…
Kinda sickening..added to all this the stress and pressure of your brother getting married.
I’m tired.
Go sleep my credit cards…sleep…for a year or so.
*sigh*
It’s times like this I remember why I hate shopping.
And still no shoes! ;-)
