We have new wireless routers!
All three of us sisters.
And I’m trying to do this properly…configuring for the best security I can do…
So, I’m trying to get mac addresses for the various machines that may or may not be on our network (yes, I know these can be cloned or whatever).
So, I emailed my siblings:
send me your mac address
so i can add u to router stuff
And Chennette responded:
what?
I didn’t do anything about mac addresses
what have you not told me???hope you not using this to hack into my computer
taking advantage of people like us
Of course, extremely offended, dying to scream at her, I sent off this message:
WHY IS EVERYTHING WITH YOU SOMETHING ABOUT HACKING INTO YOUR COMPUTER???
you should have two mac addresses
one for wired
and one for wireless
tell me which is which
i want to set up my router to only allow certain mac addresses access to it
and then she insulted me some more:
and everything is about hacking into my computer because you are a suspicious person
and I am wary
anyone with more than one computer is suspect
unless you have learned to use your right eye separately from your left eye and same for your hands
in which case you are suspect AND a freak
Hmph.
She’s the freak…feminised fruit.
Also, I know nothing about hacking into people’s computers.
And I installed RAM for her. Where’s the gratitude? the love??
PS I think something’s up with my camera…and just when I bought a new flash card for it :-(
I like to do passive negative reinforcement when I’m fixing people’s computers for free. Being nice gets you a 10 minute turnaround time, but if you’re whiny and suspicious suddenly your “please help!!!!! have you hacked me?” mails don’t get a reply for 48 hours.

I am *not* a freakazoid.
And I don’t see why you can’t ask without being all *suspicious* of me. It leads one to believe that you have something to hide and should be watched carefully.
