I killed my Frankenstein!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
I don’t know what happened.
I took out the old fan and put in the new fan (I cleaned the paste and reapplied some more).
And it wouldn’t boot.
No BIOS at all.
I started disconnecting drives. No boot.
I took out PCI and video card. No boot.
But the fan runs. And before I took out the wireless PCI card it had blinking lights.
I reconnected power thingies. No boot.
I removed RAM. Re-seated RAM. Swtiched RAM in the slots. Put one stick of RAM in a slot at a time. No boot.
I plugged the monitor into the laptop to see if that was the problem. Brilliant display! So that’s working
I worked hard to put together the old fan and put it back in.
IT’S NOT BOOTING!!!
Did I kill my processor??
I’m not getting any of those beeps people talk about which must mean it’s bad.
I don’t know what to do.
This is seriously going to be a learning experience.
What if I buy a new processor and that’s *not* the problem, what then??

[...] I did kill it! [...]
