Well, since I was at home before 7 pm as opposed to after 9 pm (since I had no class), I was able to start packing early as our flight left Trinidad at 6:30 am. Of course, I *didn’t* start packing early.
I was…tired…but didn’t sleep because I had to pack.
We woke up at 2:45 am (well I woke dad up…did I sleep?? no) so as to leave at 3:45. We intended to eat Suhur in the car on the way (which is when we would normally be eating Suhur) and then check-in and then after check-in pray Fajr salah. This all went as planned. We made sandwiches after we got ready in the morning, took two bottles of water in the car, one carrying mug of coffee and thanked our friend profusely for dropping us to the airport.

Ashmead Choate did the juz on IBN. He sat on the ground and seemed to be slower than everyone else.
I didn’t really watch. I’d had not much sleep so went to try. I didn’t get any so I just waited on mom while she was getting ready to catch her flight to Guyana.
Then, I slept from 11 am all the way to 3 pm and then woke up and rushed around to get ready for my infamous accidentally cancelled class. I was supposed to be getting a taxi but I think he forgot or was late so thankfully dad was on his way back early as his infamous class didn’t happen.
I really think sleeping through the fast is sort of pointless because…you’re just sleeping, not fasting but hey, what you gonna do? :-)
I broke this fast at work waiting on dad to pick me up once again…earlier than expected…!
I’m not sure why my dad and I bothered tryingn to have classes this week.
When dad got the news on Tuesday he just didn’t have his afternoon full time class and decided to come straight home. One of the grad students/assistant lecturers called all his M.Sc. students to say no class in the evening.
We decided mom would leave on Wednesday and we’d come on Thursday thus I would cancel my Thursday afternoon class and Saturday morning class.
