For Better Or For Worse: No More!

I remember sorta liking it once upon a time so when I started subscribing to my comics I added it to the list.
But, now, if I can remember how to unsubscribe, I think I will take it off my list.

As my sister says, disagreeing on choosing a guy is not a problem. But having faulty logic and stupid statements and more specifically, “changing reality” is unpardonable.

She abandoned Paul.
*sigh*

Maybe she should cheat on him and then she’d be a perfect bad person too.

  1. I was so mad about the lies, that I was considering blogging about it, but I only started reading FBFW because you reintroduced it to me. Well, changing reality is par for the course for soap operas, I guess they’re no better in Foobonia.

  2. Once the trial started I had a feeling I’d be not reading it anymore but…but…I didn’t think I’d be so violently offended by it.

I don’t see how this can be nice family friendly comic and get away with such lies lies and more lies!

Your blogging about it might be more eloquent!

  3. I’ve always like FBFW.

    (Ducking.)

  4. I liked it. I do/did. I just don’t like her suddenly deciding that Paul the policeman is bad for no fault of his own, just so that Anthony can be the hero. It would be just as realistic (or more) if she just realised (for better or worse!) that Anthony was always the one. No need to malign a character for no good reason and with no background.

  5. I must have missed a few days or something. I saw her parents kind of dish Paul’s absence in the car ride home from the courthouse, but not her. Since then, I’ve only seen the plumbing and neighbor troubles at her brother’s place.

  6. That’s exactly it. They’re making wimpy Anthony be a golden boy when of course he had to be there…he was after all a witness.

And they’re making out Paul to be an abandoner when it was she who abandoned him.

Also, if the parents aren’t one of the voices of Lynn then .. hmm
And it’s the super lame thought balloons of Anthony’s.

    GAH!

If she loves him/wants him that’s fine but don’t let her parents be irrational trashers of character!

  7. Ok. I’ll agree with the ‘Anthony thought balloons’. Very annoying.

What’s funny is what I thought would eventually happen bewteen the two of them: She misses ‘home’ and he reluctantly agreed to consider transferring south to follow her. But then, before she left, he met her replacement, the new teacher, a young woman he grew up with. I figured there’d be a call or letter from him eventually saying he and his old female friend had reconnected in a romantic fashion. Leaving her free to reconnect with Anthony.

  8. That’s what everybody thinks would happen.
But I’d much rather she cheats on him first than he rekindles with the lady first so the idiot Liz is the wronged party.

  9. Ewe didn’t miss anything - it’s the strip where her parents trash Paul out of the blue that has us upset. I am still reading it though, because I want to see the April storyline. Before she meets her Anthony - if she hasn’t already :-)

  10. I know she didn’t miss anything.
Her Anthony? Gah! Sounds horrible but the bf does look like Anthony.

  11. Look

She still happy? She rebelling against the parents? Paul coming in january, for Christmas? Is he going to walk in, meet Anthony, think he’s being wronged and leave in a huff? What what? I am eager to know…

  12. I don’t know.
Or when he didn’t answer and said he’s coming, is he going to come up to tell her that he found love with the whatshername?

    Ooo what will Lynn do.

    *sigh*
