I hate being…
sick.
Most of the times anywayz.
My nose feels like it can’t breathe…it feels like it’s all stuffed up…but…I wonder if that’s just my imagination.
Maybe I should stay home today too…*sigh*

Lilandra: oh…you know when you’re installing linux (debian, ubuntu, can’t recall the others) it asks you about the hardware time? is it set to utc or not? if it’s sharing with another OS then it’s probably not utc. well suppose you make the wrong decision. how can you change it aside from reinstalling?
Sharrow (and Google): To change the computer to use UTC after installation, edit the file /etc/default/rcS, change the variable UTC to no. If you happened to install your system to use local time, just change the variable to yes to start using UTC. It is best to reboot after editing /etc/default/rcS to get the changes effective.

We bought knives today.
A block.
I loved the Sabatier knives but they didn’t have a block and also buying separates didn’t seem the best idea.
The Sabatier knives were shaped nicely and felt so right.
But I bought the Richardson-Sheffield Fusion (Riveted) Knives. (I just found out that they make or distribute the Sabatier too and the ones we bought are just the middle ones or something). Amazon link here.
I like them.
We have knives that I am afraid to use! :-)
I also bought a sushi service set…now I just need implements to cook ‘em. Okay Chennette bought it for me.
And we went Rassam! And I shall upload pictures…the salvageable ones!
EDIT: Lots of people make Sabatier knives so who really knows which were the Sabatier knives that Chennette was dreaming of. But the ones we did see were by the same people.
I dream of a well outfitted kitchen.
What else do I need?
Sushi knives!
Sometime this year I noticed that my camera LCD was acting strangely.
Lines were appearing while in use.
However the pictures I took were still okay.
I thought, that I should be able to get some use from it to practice photography and see how hooked I am on it. This would’ve helped on my decision to replace if necessary.
But today I discovered that the pictures I took…are bad. Lines and funny marks.
I don’t know what to do now.
What kind of camera should I get.
Should I even get a camera.
*sob*
I got it in December 2003/January 2004.
:-(
Well, we noticed the cap was more defined and while I was eating mom thought she had to bring it for me so she brought it from outside. But before she reached me she goes “oh! it slipped out”.
So, as the guy said, in 3-4 days, it’ll come off.
So voilà:
It looks kinda…weird in there. Now what?
