Making Pastelles
Mom and I made pastelles today.
Yes, they are traditional Christmas food but we like ‘em anywayz.
We made lamb pastelles. They were yummy!
If mom provides me with a recipe (for the cornmeal dough and the lamb filling), I will post it.

well, you could have waited till Wednesday :-) for my camera, but they look great anyway – can’t wait to have some.

We were supposed to make ‘em Friday night.
I’m surprised to note that some of the pictures actually came out great, considering. You can see the moistness…and…also not see those weird streaky lines.
But mom doesn’t like to wait or pause while people taking pictures. Such a painful process!

Chennette: It seems she doesn’t. I say wait and she pauses for a second which is not any time when you tying a parcel.
