T&T Express: PNM support for smelters

T&T Express: PNM support for smelters

I’m not really sure how any of us trinis could be supporting these smelters.

We’re a blind nation, clearly, a blind nation of yes men. We blindly follow whatever our preferred political party tells us and bash every one else.

Manning said “all over Trinidad and Tobago we are getting support for the government’s industrialisation policy… Let the mice play, but when the people speak we speak for the people of Trinidad and Tobago.”

No Mr Manning, you speak for yourself and ways to make money and spend money on yourself. You don’t speak for me.

  1. i don’t any people who support the smelters, even if they consider themselves PNM … Manning is just too in love with himself.. they all are.. would like a hurricane to wash the politicians away :(

  2. Yes.
    Wash them all away!
I hope it’s just a stupid newspaper article.
    *sigh*

  3. i think he probably said it and meant it … he just doesn’t realize that if the voices come from inside his head they don’t really count as people :\

  4. ROFL

I’m laughing but it’s not funny because some people with voices inside their head, who not taking their meds, can be very dangerous :-(

  5. It is a sad day when our PM has to reach below the drain on the road side as that is how I feel about him at this time. So all of us who do not want smelters are mice and we can speak from now until …… and that is it . He also has the audacity to say that he thinks things through. Please GOD help us in our time of need because if manning thinks things through and this is what we are getting then we are in for a long long haul……….

  6. well, I think we seriously have to worry if those voices start voting…

  7. It would not be the first time that we have had voter padding in our elections now would it?
