Bajan Macaroni Pie and Flying Fish
I just explained what macaroni pie is
Well, it seems Bajan macaroni pie is a tad bit different.
Anywayz, the last thing on Chennette’s list of things to do in Barbados was to eat macaroni pie and flying fish.
A few days after trying to get it at Cave Shepherd (and a failed attempt to go drive around the coast…we slept), we went to this little diner close to the grocery store.
So, I got macaroni pie and fried flying fish (hmmm) and cole slaw.
She got macaroni pie and fried flying fish and fried plantain bites.
It was very nice and cheesy and had a tinge of red.
I liked it!
We spent about B$28-$301 on this and two bottles of water a bottle of coke.
*nice*
And, since I had my camera, I took a couple pictures :-)

- US$1 ~= B$2

Mmm…I am hungry now :-)

Hey, your back from your vacation! How was it? Buy lots of shoes and chocolate while you were there? And what’s the word on your SLR camera? I’ve lost track of your posts from all the yummy food posting you are doing the while.
I’ve being ridiculously busy, not an official job, but a side job doing court service work: it’s a couple of steps below that of a lawyer or solicitor. But hey, it pays the bills. It’s a great way to meet lots of people though–sometimes not in a good way however?

Ouch! That is a sad story. I hope you find that dream camera of yours soon!
You should get into Law, then work as a solister. Big money where I live; but, lots of paperwork and mean costomers when you serve people to go to court???? But it’s good money…. I like to smile, it takes the edge off… ;)

I dunno.
Chennette is already a lawyer.
Granted she doesn’t try cases and that sort of stuff but…I dunno if that’s for me.
Tho I used to hear patent law with a tech background was a good money making avenue but I’m not up-to-date and no longer know.
Yes my camera stories get sadder by the minute! :-(
But I do love this picture.
