Cricket World Cup: West Indies vs South Africa
I can’t watch.
But did you see Bangladesh vs South Africa? And the first innings of Ireland vs New Zealand? England vs
Well, I was at work on Saturday so saw the end of Bangladesh’s innings. It was awesome. It’s like they don’t give up trying. We do? We don’t worry about losing our job for bad performance. And then they beat South Africa. It was awesome. Even Ireland looked like they were trying. Why does it not usually feel like we’re trying (well unless and maybe if we win). Oh and that Australia vs England match (see…I kept trying to remember who did Australia play, who did England play but did I put it together, no!). Even England performs. Well, I mean, it was fun watching.
It’s just depressing watching us play.
But I’m still supporting you.

As for fighting, it’s not only a minnow trait. Everyone and their brother knew that Australia would win today, even the Irish coach said his players were under no illusions. But did Australia relax? Not in the slightest. They used their main attack and demolished the Irish. The only concession they made was when they had about 30 runs to make and lost their onlw wicket (excellent ball) they skipped the rest of the lineup and went to Symonds. Who must be quite annoyed after all the apparent effort that he does NOT have the best hair of the tournament.
Fight has nothing to do with how good you are or your winning streak. It’s just something you have to have if you really want to play competitively. Our players just want to make the team?
