Hi lily,
you provide rather, how shall I put this, short comments about teh football. Not knowing ‘who’s who’, could you provide one more sentence about the game so that we, your loyal blog viewers, can gain some foothold into what your excited about, other than the expected feets of fury ;-)

Well, since it was raining in the morning, the cricket match that was supposed to start at 9:30 am barbados time and have 50 overs x 2 innnings (each over a bowler bowls 6 balls), the match actually started at 12:15 and they reduced the number of overs to 38 overs x 2 innings.
Oh, also Australia has won every game they played in the 6 week competition and today is the finals.
They’re playing Sri Lanka (who they beat in a previous round).
I’m supporting Sri Lanka because everybody expects Australia to win. Lots of non-Sri Lankas at Kensington Oval in Barbados are probably supporting Sri Lanka also since Australia beat everybody else. Well the Indians might be supporting Australia since Sri Lanka beat India in the first round of competition.

Cricket! Yes it’s cricket!

I was just worrying that it would never start!
