Freedom?
I gave notice on Monday.
I ran along to tell people who should have some warning of this state of affairs. I told them, “I gave notice.” They asked, “Notice of what?”
Is that not the right term?
Oh well, I shall simplify. I resigned my position with 1 month’s notice (sort of).
What next for Lilandra? Who knows.
I feel so free and like there is a weight lifted off my shoulder. It is good. Why didn’t I do this ages ago? Anywayz, everything in its time. (Thank God).
Alhamdullilah it has happened and not before the right time. Yes , yes, you used the right term.But most people nowadays seem not to understand simple statements and one needs to explain. I am sure you would have picked that up from your students. Anyway what a relief for me as well………..
So we celebrated with Lilandra making brownies and carrot cake………….

Well yes someone can use someone’s frequent flyer miles since they are just adding up and not being used so let those who need it use it heheheheh.
And I am sure if you offer to babysit you might get room and board someplace where the ewes go to sleep ………. and the hmmmms rest ………..

Y’all would have to hold a living room with a couch with a pull-out bed in the highest regard, seeing as that’s all we have at the moment.
Not to mention a very loud toddler and a baby brother who’s trying to emulate him on occasion…

And I agree with your mom; do something you’ll enjoy. I spent three months travelling around Europe after quitting my last job…. figured I owed it to myself to do something I’d always wanted to do.

i feel like such a scaredy cat. travelling around somewhere aimlessly sounds good but i freak out at the thought.

I keep telling you to do something like that - and not necessarily with me - as it’s 5 months gone since we have been planning - you should go somewhere by yourself and aimlessly travel with camera!!

Will you please go take a holiday as soon as you can and enjoy yourself. Go visit everyone … the world over where you have friends and family.
You deserve to treat yourself. You need the break to really discover who or what you are hehehehehehe besides being my youngest loving daughter ….
