I gave notice on Monday.

I ran along to tell people who should have some warning of this state of affairs. I told them, “I gave notice.” They asked, “Notice of what?”

Is that not the right term?

Oh well, I shall simplify. I resigned my position with 1 month’s notice (sort of).

What next for Lilandra? Who knows.

I feel so free and like there is a weight lifted off my shoulder. It is good. Why didn’t I do this ages ago? Anywayz, everything in its time. (Thank God).

I’ve been in distress the last few days, not paying attention to much news…and never posting my views on the World Cup.
Just when I was ready I have to hear about Gilchrist.

*argh*

Maybe I should just not bother and change the title.

I’m fed up.
The final annoyed me no end.
This Gilchrist thing is perturbing.
The umpires/officials/etc…well…playing in the dark is ridiculous.
Playing for an unknown total is ridiculous.

I mean, we had enough problems with the world cup in the Caribbean, why add to it? why more stains? Why the travesty of a final???

I am sad.
Why did I bother get all excited and follow the world cup? Should I even bother following the next West Indies tour?
I don’t know.

I’ve been busy uploading all my pictures from before going to Barbados.
So *very* tedious.
They’re not the greatest pictures but they are excited pictures as I was so happy to finally get my camera back. I got it around Easter I think.

Most of these are flower pictures. I was watering mom’s plants all the while she was in Barbados. I guess there is some benefit.

Is it coming for us?
Should we be afraid?
Is it trying to eat us???

Okay so maybe not. But both Chennette and I thought it rather spooky.

Mom bought a new orchid (well she may have bought three new orchids that day) and this one needed some fixing of a broken stem from being transported in the car. So she put it in the kitchen sink for her surgery (because it has great light at that time of day) and I took a picture of it (because there was great light especially at that time of day).

I also took a picture of some buds:

I just saw Spider-man 3! It was awesome! I loved it. Will post more later but oh man! I can’t pick just one thing…well Sam Raimi :-)
