A loong loong time ago (okay almost two weeks), I promised to post you a picture of sahina.

Well, I finally got them off my camera and uploaded to flickr so:

8lbs 10 oz (whoa!!! 1.5 lbs heavier than his sister was and well 2lbs 2oz heavier than his month-old cousin)
52 cm long (about same length as both of them)
14 inch head circumference (bigger by about 3-4 cm!)

we don’t think he’ll fit in newborn for very long

and who does he look like? Chennette says both sister the elder and brother…

me, all i could think was that he looked BIG!!!

A nephew…whoa!

I just lost a whole post entitled this.

Short story, my sister has been induced and we’re waiting.
We’re waiting at home!
I mean my sister and her husband are in the nursing home and mom, dad, niece/big girl and I are at home.

It’s weird because for big girl we were there until and after she was born.
For niece 2, we drove up to be there in time for the birth.

But because of big girl (who is thankfully sleeping), we are waiting at home…and getting sleep…some of us anywayz.

Eagerly awaiting arrival of niece number three/nephew number one.
Of course mom is calling it a boy…only wants a boy.
Poor granddaughters…might feel inadequate and unloved.

But…might be time today.
Or early tomorrow?

Our home email.
I swear it’s not my fault.
Really.

*sigh*

I wonder if I’d do a better job of handling our mail ourselves.
Yeah…but nobody will be able to access it because of crappy internet.

*sigh*

I’m sure it’s not my fault.
But maybe I should’ve contacted customer service for clarification.

They’re going to blame me anywayz.
Chennette is going to have a fit.
Let’s not talk about mom.

Hey, I’m sick, double whammy almost (stupid fever) and I’m fretting horribly…but nobody will care. *sigh*

(Okay, I *do* but I just don’t)

Will I ever? Maybe.

Or maybe this is the only way I know to clean house…lose things so I don’t have to actually throw them away.
This is why I don’t back up.

Like, you would think, it’s been OH MY LORD 10 YEARS SINCE SECONDARY SCHOOL (*faints* I just realized! yikes yikes yikes), 6 years since undergrad and 3 years since grad school…you would think I’d be able to at least go through some of those Secondary school things and throw away them (no comment on this paragraph from you know who that uses my iMac please!). Some of my undergrad things should be able to throw away too. The post-graduate stuff still gives me hives so that might need some time. *sigh*

I’m depressed.

I’m panicking!!!

Maybe the provider might still have my email…cuz they only deleted the domain, did they delete the mail stored? gah! gah! maybe it happens automatically because the mailboxes sure are deleted.

*panic*

So, I’ve decided to participate in a food competition, namely CLICK, where you submit a photograph of a themed food. This month’s theme is NOODLES!

I do have to make new lasagne for my other sister, but I doubt I’ll get it done before the 20th so…wish me luck! I’m entering a different picture of the lasagne I made and showed you last month…well I made it last month but showed it to you at the beginning of this month.

Saheena or sahina is like a bhaji (spinach) and grind dhaal (split peas) roulade, fried.

Yum.

People also make something more like a fritter, where you put chopped up bhaji into the batter and fry flattish balls of it. We call this bhajia but some call it all sahina. My brother loves this one.

I like the roll up one.

Since I’m a bit sick (fever or something), I’ll take some pictures later.
It smelled so good but I couldn’t eat it at all right then.

*sigh*
