Howard Gardner’s Eight Types of Intelligence Test

I did a quiz…from Chiska:
My Results:

Your result for Howard Gardner’s Eight Types of Intelligence Test…

Logical

41% Logical, 39% Spatial, 39% Linguistic, 31% Intrapersonal, 24% Interpersonal, 16% Musical, 14% Bodily-Kinesthetic and 22% Naturalistic!

“This area has to do with logic, abstractions, inductive and deductive reasoning, and numbers. While it is often assumed that those with this intelligence naturally excel in mathematics, chess, computer programming, and other logical or numerical activities, a more accurate definition places emphasis less on traditional mathematical ability and more reasoning capabilities, abstract pattern recognition, scientific thinking and investigation, and the ability to perform complex calculations.

Careers which suit those with this intelligence include scientists, mathematicians, engineers, doctors and economists.” (Wikipedia)

Are you fed up of being asked what’s your politics and you have no clue?
Are you non-US and trying to figure out how you would fit in with all the political crazies in the USA?

Well, I don’t know if this will help but it was a quiz and I got to select radio buttons and so why not?

Please help me contribute to the following list: Reasons Chennette should get a DSLR

Reasons Chennette should get a DSLR:

  1. She is ready for it
  2. She is our niece’s official photographer and our niece is fast and she can’t afford to miss a shot because of shutter lag!
  3. If she wants to stop having problems with red…
  4. Her pictures will pop even more!
  5. She’ll be able to do such interesting things with focus!
  6. EDIT: Lilandra needs to focus on someone ELSE buying a camera to distract her from urges to spend money on new toys.

In the last week or so I thought of many good reasons but for some reason they elude me. Feel free to contribute!

Modding my phone

I recently bought a Motorola V360 phone in Guyana.
I think it is usually GSM 850/1800/1900 or GSM 900/1800/1900.
Well, this was both unlocked and quad-band.

It’s okay.
I don’t *hate* Motorola anymore and I like it and got it at a decent price.

And since it’s quad-band, I can use it with Digicel in Trinidad & Tobago (850/1900, my main cell phone), bMobile in Trinidad & Tobago (1800…which I may or may not keep around…it is cheaper to use it for landlines but the quality seems to suck very much and also…I can send text messages to my brother with this phone) and when I wander back to Guyana and use GT&T (900). I have a heard a rumour of Digicel moving to Guyana also. And my Digicel SIM was able to roam in Guyana (well receive calls…I couldn’t figure out what codes to dial to make calls but Chennette has sent and received texts with her Digicel T&T).

Well though this was happily unlocked…they were like phones from China or somewhere close by. The languages on my phone are English, Chinese (?) and Bahasa Melayu (Malaysian language?). It also had loads of Web Sessions on it (profiles that stored the MMS and GPRS and WAP settings). These were editable but not deletable…I couldn’t edit the name. This posed a problem as I needed two profiles for Digicel but only had one free space. I could’ve just edited one and left the name as is but I wanted a better solution to delete these profiles.
